The Laser Plus Managed Print Services solution recently implemented by Stella Travel Services has enabled Stella to update their printing policy to support their Group's effort to reduce its carbon footprint. This includes using HP's Universal Print Driver to implement print policies across the business, including automatic duplex and mono colour printing. Stella Travel Services are also now able to ensure devices have default power saving settings, which has helped to significantly reduce power consumption.
Additionally, the company has signed up to the HP Planet Partners programme, which recycles used toners and ink cartridges ensuring zero waste to landfill - further reducing Stella's carbon footprint.
"Enrolling with HP Planet Partners was a simple decision", says Brad Watson, Systems Support Manager, Stella Travel Services. "It's easy to go on-line and book a pick up. We have three bins on each floor and it is good to know our print supplies don't go straight into the bin, but that they are recycled at no cost to us."
"HP and Laser Plus provided us with a solution that was easy to use and manage, reliable and fast. The devices are very user-friendly and have the 'HP feel' - everything is in the right place so you know what to expect."
